1. Creating 3D objects and environments for video games, films, or other interactive media in collaboration with artists, designers, and developers.
2. Creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations with software and tools including Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
3. Ensuring that 3D assets are performance-optimized and satisfy technical standards such as poly count, texture size, and file format.
4. Helping to create and execute art pipelines and workflows to enhance productivity and quality.
5. Mentoring, advising, and offering input on the work of junior artists.
6. Remaining current on the newest developments, techniques, and technologies in the 3D business.
7. Involvement in project planning and scheduling and ensuring that assigned activities are accomplished on schedule and to the desired quality standards.
8. Working with other departments such as game design, programming, and music to ensure that the project's visual aspects are in line with the overall vision and goals.
